2008, he wrote and asked ,
for March,—1 through 7,
to celebrate in measures  true,
a safe consumer haven!

Since 1881, he wrote
environment &  consumer,
we enrich lives effectively;
no “Caring Service” rumor!

Now truly those  words do attach
connection to today.
But really, you can still fix this,
just find another way!

A lovely scale, this antique is,
and what’s great is ….it works!.
Plus—– when we have  those  windstorms here,
who needs electric perks?

For this great scale, it needs no plug,
just weights to equal measure.
Since 1915 and its birth
it is a Measure Treasure!

Now most confusing county folks
a number was reversed,
and so you say this cannot be
the scale you tested first!

How super silly this path is,
the one you try to trod.
An antique scale, one of a kind.
OH!  What you say is ODD!

Dyslexic numbers humans make
we see it all the time.
So really, what you say is weird,
your logic does unwind!

So, just to further demonstrate
what Public Servants do,
they look at facts and the results.
At times….neither will do.

For once upon a time I got
a ticket on the street.
My headlight was burned out you see,
for safety did not meet.

So I arrived at the police
 to show headlight’s repair
“Oh, no,” he said “this cannot be
for license plate’s in error.”

“Say What? ” I said and  took a look
and wow, oh wow,  wow-ee,
the numbers were reversed, of course,
on my car’s ticket..see?

Police, of course, did see my point
and smiled and said ” Tee  hee!”
We laughed at numbers  backwardness,
and fixed this easily.

So I have hopes, Oh Measured ones
 this problem, it does match!
 Fix backward number errors then,
and  problem can be patched!

For CARING SERVICE we must have;
this works well for you too.
To rectify a right that’s wronged
the BEST MEASURE for you!
