Yes, it was one year ago today that hurricane-force winds blew into Altadena and the San Gabriel Valley, knocking over trees, knocking out power, and making for a frightening night and uncomfortable few days as power was slowly restored.

For weeks thereafter, fallen trees and branches were piled into gutters and eventually carted off by Athens Services or county crews.  

But the recriminations started right away, as Southern California Edison took what seemed to many like a long time to restore lost power to all the houses and places of business that lost it.

Looking back, what do you remember about the great wind of 2011?
