Walmart: A couple of items we came across and share without comment: the right-leaning Washington Examiner and Washington Times look at how Walmart heir Sam Walton is a big donor to the President’s re-election campaign; and now the retail giant is moving away from “green” products and organic produce, because it’s losing money on them, and Walmart hates to lose money (PJ Media commentary on a Wall Street Journal article that is only available to subscribers).
Dorland House, again: the Lloyd Wright-designed Dorland house at 1370 Morada is for sale (we’ve mentioned it earlier), and our Skywatcher Chris Considine sends us this link to his own pictures of the distinctive home (still only one bathroom, tho’!) Shout out to Realtor Cariy Hernandez, whose client bought our house in Pasadena 11 years ago, which is why we are here today!
