Blair School hosts two college and career pathways academies, Health Careers and Culinary Arts and Hospitality and is also an International Baccalaureate World School. Blair was named a 2011 California Distinguished School by the California Department of Education, the first PUSD secondary school to win this prestigious award. The Blair Middle School campus was completed in 2011 and funded by Measure TT. 

The PUSD Board President is required by the Pasadena City Charter to annually deliver a State of the Schools Address on or before September 30. Spanish translation of the remarks will be provided and tours of Blair Middle School and Blair High School will be offered following the event. The 2012 State of the Schools will be streamed live on klrntv.org/webcast and will be broadcast on KLRN-TV (Ch. 95 on Charter and Ch. 99 on U-Verse) the following week.
