Owen Brown marker update: recovery pictures shared, PSN’s view

Paul Ayers of Save The Altadena Trails shared these pictures of last week’s recovery of the Owen Brown grave marker near the Meadows neighborhood.

The Pasadena Star-News has also covered the event with a couple of good stories and a picture: James Figueroa looks at the recovery itself, while Larry Wilson not only trumpets the finding of the stone, but the added bonus of it being recovered by local artist Ian White, son of Altadena master artist Charles White.  (Our Erika McCarden wrote about Ian and his father earlier this year).
