Lisa Haley spreads some “zydecosis” at Farnsworth Park Saturday night
by Timothy Rutt
Lisa Haley and the Zydekats made a hot August night even hotter Saturday as part of the Sheriff Support Group’s summer concert series at Farnsworth Park.
The Cajun/zydeco fiddler and her four-piece band did some slow numbers and some fast ones, but it seemed that most of the crowd loved them all. We have more pictures after the jump.
- Gigi Rabe adds the distinctive Cajun accordian sound to the band.
- Some folks just need to get out and dance
- … or even line dance!
- Another packed house and busy dance floor at Farnsworth Park Saturday night.
Jazz guitarist and Altadena resident Brian Hughes will be at the park next week.
And if you want more Lisa Haley, she’ll be performing at the “Mumbo Gumbo Food and Music Festival” to benefit Rosemary Children’s Services on Sept. 16, along with local boys Wreck ‘N’ Sow.
