In two year spans, the time was right
and planets did align.
The search for water is the goal
and hit spot on in time.

The Gale Crater is the plan
with mountain in its midst.
to study layers of mountain soil
that on the plains is missed.

So August 5th, this year  the date
to land on Martian soil,
we’re seeing all the planning here
in science love and toil.

Of course, I learned this all today,
 Open House for Science.
And JPLs the place to be,
for Nation’s growth reliance!

But that’s not all that you can see

ROSETTA —on a comet quest,
will catch it and will land!
