PJ Johnson shared with us some pictures of Friday night’s Poetry & Art Slam at Altadena Elementary School.  The slam, in honor of Black History Month, brought together young poets and artists from all over the Pasadena Unified School District.  Above,  one young man performs his tribute to inventor Lewis Latimer.
