It's windy today (but you know that) The National Weather Service says strong west to northwest Santa Anas are expected today through this afternoon. A high wind warning is in effect until 2 PM today, with gusts strongest in passes and canyons, possibly as high as 60 MPH.

The National Weather Service/National Oceanic & Atmospheric Agency has announced that a high wind warning is in effect for the mountains of Los Angeles County with the possibility of stronger winds below the canyons and passes.
We may experience wind gusts up to 70 miles per hour.
Remember that many trees were weakened by the windstorm that began on November 30th and it is possible more trees will topple in the winds we're experiencing today increase in intensity.
Stay watchful and watch for downed power lines, trees or branches or limbs dropping onto power lines or onto vehicles or structures.
