So we were looking at the other website yesterday, and they had a link to a story at another website at their "around the web" column.  (They're not to blame for this one, except maybe in matters of taste).

The "around the web" link was to a website that had a rather thorough article on the Altadena Library.  In fact, "Joshi's" story on "Do Pasadena" sounded extremely familiar.

It sounded a lot like this one.
