An Altadena firefighter was slightly injured after falling off a roof fighting a fire this morning, but he's back on duty.

Spokesman Don Kunitomi from the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. said that dispatcher received a call at 6:17 this morning for a fire on the roof of a two-storey house on the 200 block of West Ventura St. The fire was knocked down only minutes later, at 6:34.  One firefighter fell off the roof while fighting the fire, but Kunitomi said that his injuries were minor and he returned to duty.

There was no cause or estimate of damage available as of press time.
