Dance1

A few folks cut a rug near the stage …

Flugel

It was a good time for the Down Beat Express to toot their own (flugel)horn.  Guitarist Brian Hughes is up next week.

By the way, several folks asked why the center stage staircase was removed.  According to Sheriff Support Group president Robert Klomburg, it wasn’t original to the stage, anyway — it was built for one of the “American Pie” movies (Farnsworth Park is band camp, didn’t you know?)  Over time, the county required that handrails be installed on the staircase to meet ADA requirements — and the handrails made it hard to see the performing acts.  So the whole thing was taken down before the concert season.
