The P-Weekly is making a plea for Rebuilding Together Pasadena, which is planning to make a series of repairs at the Altadena home of Victor Wright. Wright, a JV fullback for Muir High School, was left a quaraplegic after making a tackle in 1976. Following that, he still accomplished some amazing things, all detailed in the article.

I volunteered for part of the work last Saturday. I was part of a group of around 20 volunteers. We got a great start on the place to get it prepared for some additional work next weekend. One other thing we learned is that Verizon has a new 411 service called 1-800-The-Info. It’s basically no cost 411 with ads, but the cool thing is that rebuilding together get a buck for every new caller! I called and rebuilding together got another dollar to help out! Spread the word.
