The beginning class will include plant selection, seasonal planting, integrated pest management, composting, harvesting, companion planting, irrigation and water conservation.
Both classes will be doing hands-on activities in the Victory Garden’s assigned garden plots and according to Huston, “we spend a lot of time walking through the garden as there are always a lot of teachable moments there.”
