This free event will be held this year at the Altadena Senior Center, 560 E. Mariposa, just west of the main library, and feature a reading by the Poet Laureate for Altadena Library, Alene Terzian.
The public is invited to hear Ms. Terzian and other local poets perform their original poems. There will also be a drawing for some great prizes. Past attendees have commented on what an “inspiring and fun event” this free program has been. Following the main readings, there will be an open mic and a poet’s corner where poets may share their poetry publications and offer them for purchase.
