In addition, at this year’s breakfast, the CCIS Corporate Award will be presented to the Arcadia Association of Realtors’ Real Estate Professionals Committee and its chair Micah Adams for their continuous support of CCIS programs and its special holiday event.  Cristina Alvarado, CCIS Executive Director, will also be honored with the Marge Wyatt Advocacy Award for her leadership and dedication to child care and working families.

Child Care Information Service, a private nonprofit agency, was founded 38 years ago, and serves the communities of Altadena, Arcadia, Duarte, La Canada, Monrovia, Pasadena, San Marino, Sierra Madre, and South Pasadena.  CCIS provides child care referrals, free or low cost child care for eligible families through CalWORKS or Alternative Payment (AP), and training programs for child care providers to improve quality of service and to increase children’s safety.
