Millard Canyon campground host Lonnie Fehr wrote us last night that “we now have a doe with a severely broken left rear leg at the angle, only skin holding it on” in the area.

Fehr said that a visitor let their unleashed dog run loose in the campground area, and the deer broke her leg fleeing from the dog.

“This is one of the reasons (US Forest Service) requires dogs on leash,” Fehr wrote.  “Off-leash dogs have been an ongoing problem here.”
