This is a bit far afield for us, but worth watching: one of our readers (who calls himself Suitmen) had to share this picture and video.

Apparently a bus or some other vehicle clipped off a fire hydrant at the corner of Lake and Orange Grove in Pasadena this afternoon at about 1 PM.  We do NOT want the job of shutting it off.
