Local politicos announce holiday gatherings

The local electeds are  throwing holiday bashes, so clear your calendars now:

•  Assemblyman Anthony Portantino will hold his annual Holiday Open House on Tues., Dec. 7, 6-8 PM at the Armory Center for the Arts, 145 N. Raymond, Pasadena. Please RSVP to 626-577-9944.

This year, Portantino is pleased to host a book drive to benefit local public school libraries and nonprofit organizations. He invites you to bring for donation a new, unwrapped book, appropriate for kindergarten through 6th grade readers. Sample book titles are listed at www.assembly.ca.gov/portantino. 

• County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich invites all to join him at the 51st Annual Los Angeles County Celebration Program t the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Christmas Eve from 3-6 PM. This year’s celebration will feature 22 groups and over 600 performers.
