The highlight of the Altadena summer is always the Sheriff's Support Group's concert series at Farnsworth Park.  This year, there will not only be first-class acts almost every weekend, but boxed picnic dinner, standup comedy, gourmet coffee, and more.

SSG president Robert Klomburg tells us that they've just sealed a deal with the very-much-open Amy's Patio Cafe, 900 E. Altadena Dr., to provide boxed dinners for concertgoers (the menu is here).  Each $45 boxed dinner serves two, and options are available for children as well, and can be ordered up to a week ahead of time.

In addition, the Master of Ceremonies function for each concert will be filled by one of the stand-up comedy performers at the Coffee Gallery. (Coffee Gallery is also likely to offer drinks, including iced coffee, at the concerts).
