The fierce Altadena author Ellen Snortland celebrates Women’s History Month  on Mon., March 29 at the Altadena Library.  Snortland will present an entertaining yet practical guide to self-defense for women and girls, based on her book Beauty Bites Beast.  It starts at 7 PM at the library, 600 E. Mariposa, and admission is free.
