Congressman Adam Schiff will host a panel discussion about the crisis in Haiti and efforts underway to rebuild the country on Feb. 28 at the Altadena Library Community Room, 600 E. Mariposa, from 5-7 PM.

The panel will include Dr. Henri Ford, Surgeon-in-Charge at the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles. Dr. Ford is a native of Haiti and recently returned from the country after performing hundreds of hours of emergency surgery. Other panel participants will discuss the situation in Haiti now and what is being done to help residents put their lives back together in the wake of this horrible tragedy.
