The Altadena Library’s teen program celebrated a great summer (see Heather Firchow’s blog here), and now they’re planning for the next year — and this is where you come in:

Your Library Needs You! Get Active @ Your Library.

Join the 2009-2010 ALD Teen Advisory Committee and:

• Plan library programs and events for teens and tweens
• Recommend books, CDs and other materials for the library to purchase
• Earn community service hours for school
• Write book, CD and movie review
• Contribute to the teen website

TAC Meetings are held once a month at the Main Library, 600 E. Mariposa. Pick up an application at the Reference desk at the Altadena Library.  Application deadline:  Wed., Sept. 9, 2009
