 10. We’ve been having great bbqs for 34 years.  Now it’s #35, appropriately, the Handi-Wipe  Anniversary.  (Remember Queen Elizabeth’s 35th?   Not a drop of grease when she ate plates of ribs.) 

9.  We’ve got the beets.  And the asparagus.  And the berries.   Did we mention the ribs?

8.  The ribs are grown at the local Meat Garden.   Fact check, please.

7.  Great photo opps.  With 108 gardeners in 65 plots, this is a riot of color and plants.

The Altadena Community Garden BBQ  is from 1 to 5 PM, leaving plenty of time for your morning Rose Bowl walk and the evening at Levitt Pavillion.  And at $8 per person, you won’t find a more economical lunch west of the Rockies.
