The American Cancer Society’s first Altadena Relay for Life starts this Saturday at 9 AM and goes for 24 hours at Farnsworth Park.  As well as several teams walking for the cause, there’ll be entertainment for everyone. 

Julie Sandoval, owner of the Coffee Gallery, is fielding a team, and tells us about the entertainment scheduled:

I’m participating in the June 6th Altadena Relay for Life. I’m team leader of The JAVAWALKERS and invite any of our Backstage Friends to be a part of our team or to make a donation in support of our team. You don’t need to be in great shape to be a team member. The Relay is a 24 hour relay walk with shifts being as short as 30 minutes.

The Day of the Relay will be a fun filled day at Farnsworth Park the top of Lake Ave.) in Altadena. There will be live music performances all day long starting at 10am -8pm. Here is a list of all the performers:
