The American Cancer Society’s first Altadena Relay for Life, to raise funds and remember those who are struggling or have struggled with cancer, got started at 9 AM Saturday, and will continue through 9 AM today, Sunday. Teams from places such as USC, Lockheed, and others will be walking for 24 hours to raise awareness.
Saturday night, the Relay had a Luminaria Walk — a silent lap, led by bagpipers, with the path illuminated with luminaria — each one created by one of the walkers, remembering individuals who have battled cancer.

Clark Kent, that’s what you are. Thanks to you I caught many of the weekend events, including part of this one last night.
