A member of the Chaney Trail newsgroup reports seeing two hefty men harvesting pads from a neighbor's cactus without permission on Sat., May 2. When challenged, they were belligerent, and when the observer wrote down their license plate number, they fled:
The two men were big (not trim, but with large "beer bellies"),
Hispanic, late 30s to mid-40s. At least one of them was wearing a
short sleeve jersey shirt with wide, horizontal white and dark
stripes. They looked enough alike that they might've been related.
They were driving a dark blue (almost black) Toyota pick-up truck
with the license plate # 8B05886.

When you find them, tell them to come to my house and cut all they want.

Gee, I hope they don’t have any other strikes against them. It would be sad to be put away for life for a cactus pad.
