Ten candidates submitted their names to run for Altadena Town Council by 5 PM today, with five incumbents opting not to run again and the likelihood of only two races in the June 6 election.
According to council chair Gino Sund, the next step is for the names to be vetted Tuesday by the election committee — checked for proper address, census tract, and such — and the list will be approved by the town council at its next meeting May 19.
