The fire department and deputies were called in at 9:34 PM April 18 to a car on fire at the 2200 block of Pinecrest Ave. in east Altadena.  According to sheriff Lt. Sheila Sanchez, the car was a 2003 Porsche Carrera that had earlier been reported stolen to the LAPD.  The incident is being investigated as arson, and no suspects were immediately identified.
