Thanks to many alert neighbors (notably Steve Gerow and Stonehill News’ Jeremiah Small) for letting us know that work has begun on re-opening the Mt. Wilson Toll Road, which closed due to a major slide after the heavy rains of 2005. Crews have started work carving a new trail, and Jeremiah has sent us some wonderful pictures (below). We’ve got some calls in to check on the construction schedule and when the trail will be re-opened — will share when we get something concrete. Meantime, enjoy Jeremiah’s pictures below (there are more here) — and check with the Mr. Wilson Toll Road Informer, which we just discovered.
