we seem to be having a brownout too – some lights are working in a dim fashion but most appliances are completely off. can’t reach anyone at edison.

You know, I had to come here for any news at all. We too are in brown-out, but very brown and mostly out — Athens Street. So Cal Ed sez, Really? We don’t show any problems.

Way to go Tim

Brownout on New York and Allen as well – reported to Edison.

The lights went out completely down at a family member’s house near the intersection of New York and Hill, then came back on at “half” power (i.e. big stuff isn’t running, just lights). As we drove home up Holliston/ Altadena East of Lake/ between Lake & Marengo, many street lights were out, including traffic signals. Be careful out there! (7:40 PM)

Saw a transformer blow on New York around 6:30 pm, across from Corel. I think that’s what is causing theower voltage.

My Altadena electricity went out completely for about ten minutes around 8:35 pm.

Back up here, Athens west of Lake. Good job keeping us informed Tim. Now I know where to go for all the late-breaking Altadena news.
