The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) is now hiring for the position of Deputy Sheriff Trainee! Come to our Recruitment Expo on April 11, 2015, and see what the Department is all about!
At the Expo, you will have an opportunity to talk with various deputy personnel who work different assignments within the Sheriff’s Department. Recruiters, Background Investigators, Special Enforcement Bureau (SWAT), Special Victims Bureau, Sheriff’s K-9 units, Aero Bureau, Arson/Explosives Detail, Boat Operator, and others will be present to demonstrate the wide variety of opportunities available with LASD.
The LASD application, background, and hiring process has been modified to find and hire the best candidates as quickly as possible. There are currently hundreds of open positions, and LASD intends to hire at least 600 deputies this year.
Job Requirements:
– 19 1/2 years of age
– U.S. High School Diploma or G.E.D.
– U.S. Citizen or permanent aliens who are eligible and have applied for citizenship
– A valid driver license

When: The Expo 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on April 11, 2015.
All Recruitment Expos include walk-in testing for the position of Deputy Sheriff Trainee, no appointment necessary. Bring your valid photo identification. Testing will also take place at 10:00am and noon on April 11th, 2015.
